G.R.E.S. Samba Mundial offers drum and dance classes covering a wide variety of styles and ability levels. We are dedicated to promoting cross-culturalism through Brazilian music and dance. We offer classes to newcomers to introduce them to Brazilian forms and turn them into Brazilophiles, as well as classes for veteran Brazilophiles who need an outlet in the South Bay and on the Peninsula. We meet every week on an ongoing basis.
Please visit the links below for more information about specific classes.
Learn the basics. Dance to Samba Reggae, Samba Batucada, Samba de Roda, and a few other folkloric forms. It's a great way to sweat & shake off your work week and meet a nice bunch of people!
